Semaglutide
A prescription program for weight, supervised from the first consult to the last check-in.
What it is
The prescription is
the smallest part.
Semaglutide is a prescription medication used inside medically supervised weight-management programs. It works with the body's own appetite signals, so the hunger that undoes most plans becomes quieter.
At Body Lounge it never arrives on its own. A full health review comes first, scheduled check-ins follow, and the plan covers how you eat, move and sleep. If semaglutide isn't the right fit for you, we say so at the consultation.
How it works
Three movements,
one program.
The medical consult
Health history, current medications and goals, reviewed in full before anything is prescribed.
The supervised program
The medication alongside scheduled check-ins, so the dose and the plan follow how you actually respond.
The follow-through
What you build during the program is what stays. The plan keeps evolving with you.

Your plan
Every body reads
differently.
Whether semaglutide belongs in your plan, and how the program is built around it, is decided at a complimentary consultation with a full health review. That conversation comes first, always.

Questions, answered.
What is semaglutide?
A prescription medication that works with the body's own appetite-regulating signals. At Body Lounge it is used only inside a medically supervised weight-management program.
Is semaglutide right for me?
That's a medical decision, not a marketing one. Candidacy is determined at a consultation with a full health review, and if it isn't right for you, we'll say so.
Semaglutide or tirzepatide, which one?
They are different medications, and the right one depends on your health history, your goals and how your body responds. Your provider decides it with you at the consultation. We compare them in plain language in this article, and the tirzepatide program is here.
Are there side effects?
Some people experience digestive effects, particularly in the early weeks. That is exactly why the program is supervised: anything you notice is reported, reviewed and managed with your provider.
Do I still need to change my habits?
Yes, and we would rather tell you now. The medication supports the work; nutrition, movement and sleep are what make the change last. The program addresses all of it.
How long will I be on the program?
It is individual. Duration is reviewed regularly with your provider based on your progress and goals. We do not promise timelines and we do not set them in stone.
